Shafa Hospital has an ICU department that has a first-class license and the structure of these departments is in accordance with the latest international standards and with devices that provide sterile air and use natural light, a suitable environment is provided for patients.
The ICU department is equipped with the most advanced equipment and central monitoring and is ready to accept and provide services to critically ill patients within 24 hours. The experienced and caring staff of this department regularly obtain the necessary training during internal hospital conferences, outside the hospital or public conferences.
Anesthesiologists are resident in the ICU 24 hours a day.
Special ICU services
- Patients are bathed at least two to three times a week
- The number of beds is proportional to the number of nurses and paramedics

- Bronchoscopy is performed using a portable bronchoscope device in the ward
- Patients are followed up and dressed by the wound clinic in case of advanced wounds
- Care for critically ill respiratory and cerebral patients who require mechanical ventilation and careful control of vital signs, including patients with CVA, CRF, poisoning and cancer
