International Patient Department (IPD) Definition: Medical tourism or health tourism is a trip to another country for the purpose of treatment. The reasons for this type of tourism are the lack of similar treatment methods, high costs, and the lack of advanced treatment technologies in the country of origin. On the other hand, due to the reasonable medical tariffs in Iran compared to other countries in the region and the provision of international quality medical and nursing services, a large number of patients are willing to travel to Iran to receive medical services, and this has made our beloved country one of the health tourism hubs in the region.
